I took my hand held Dyson in because I thought it needed a new battery. The young clerk noticed my filter was dirty and showed me how to clean it. No charge!!!! He could have easily charged me the $79 to clean it. I just wanted to highly recommend this company.

I took my 1998 Miele to Erv's. They diagnosed it within 15 minutes as a hose malfunction. However, dummy me, wanted a second opinion. I really wanted someone to fix it. I took it to Midwest vacuums in Lee's Summit, a week later and $24.99 plus gas was told the exact thing Erv's told me. Erv is honest and once I decide to buy a new vacuum, I most likely will go back to Erv.

Above and beyond helpful and exceeded my expectations! Went to donate my $1000 Kirby vacuum that I thought was broken and in less than 10 minutes they had it fixed for less than $10!!!! Super friendly too!

Love this place. They fixed my Dyson and saved me the cost of having to buy a new one. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning if I ever have any other vacuum problems.

I was impressed by Logan, who helped me navigate the brands and models of vacuums that had the features that would help me clean my house. There was no pressure involved as he demonstrated the advantages and disadvantages of features and the costs of attachments. He took a loads of time to answer my questions. It was a big help to be able to run the machines in the shop to get a feel. An excellent experience.

Very knowledgeable! Lots of options for such a a small location. Doesn’t try to sell you on the most expensive ones. Saw the brand we use at my job and that’s the one I want. We went for a part, not a whole vacuum. I know where to go when it’s time to replace ours, though!

My family has, for many, many years, relied upon Midwest Vacumms in Lawrence, Kansas for our varying home care and vacuuming needs. This week, I had need of a small repair for my well-used and quite old, yet still very much "use-able", upright vacuum. Upon my arrival at the Lawrence store, with my vacuum in tow, I was greeted warmly by Logan. I explained the repair I felt was needed and within seconds, literally, Logan assessed the situation and shared with me that regretfully, the parts necessary for my repair were no longer available due to decisions made by the manufacturing company of my vacuum. I was not given the "run-around" thankfully. I pondered this new information for a moment and then asked Logan if perhaps he could find a way to repair the issue himself while I waited. He agreed to try to do so and amazingly, he did, within only 3-4 minutes' time. While I waited, I looked around at the stores' vacuum selections. When Logan re-appeared with my repaired vacuum, I asked him if he had light, but sturdy and powerful upright vacuums available for under a certain dollar figure. He immediately confirmed he did. He showed me 3 options that met my parameters. He was knowledgeable about the products he showed me and easily yet thoroughly answered my several many questions. He did not attempt to upsell me...which helps me to know I'm working with someone I can trust. I made no purchase this week but I may well do so in the near future and...., I will have no need to shop around or to research and try to figure out things out myself. Midwest Vacuums does this for you with knowledgeable, helpful and well-informed staff. Thanks Logan and Thank You Midwest Vacuums!!! I'll definitely keep coming back.

Went there to see if they rent or sell shampooer's with no luck. But I tell you what they helped me with every question I had and it was a lot. I will definitely be going there in the future!!!!

I had problems with two vacuums that needed repair, Sara and Logan fixed me up in one day and I was good to go. Friendly place with good service, been going there for 30 years.

I seldom write reviews, but Erv's is AMAZING. Landon's guidance, by phone and in person, paved the way for a perfect customer experience. Sarah and the team diagnosed the issue with my 20+ year-old central vac power head, researched to learn the manufacturer was no longer in business, found a powerhead compatible with my central vac system, confirmed there was no issue with the hose connections, and the service was worth the 90 minute round-trip drive. Yes, a different central vac service company is much closer to me (north of KC), but past experience with them sent me in search of someone else. I will happily do the road trip to Erv's for any future guidance or service.

I ran to Midwest Vacuums on a Monday without looking at business hours. Upon arrival, I noticed the closed sign, but a staff member happened to be there for shop maintenance. He insisted on helping me and took time to explain what I needed. He easily could have had me come back a different day. The customer service was top notch!!!

We bought a Sebo from Erv’s and Sarah helped us… we used use a Dyson but after many repairs it made more sense to invest in a better vacuum, thanks Sarah!
